About

Jeremiah Smith is a New York City based artist represented by Resolute Artists Agency. Jeremiah graduated in 2023 with a BFA in Musical Theatre from Ball State University. He devoted his studies to singing, acting, dancing, and guitar accompaniment. He most recently performed in his national tour debut as Ensemble in Dolly Parton's Smoky Mountain Christmas Carol. His regional theatre credits include High Righteous Brother in Beautiful: The Carole King Musical at Axelrod Performing Arts Center, Willard Hewitt in Footloose, Nicely-Nicely Johnson in Guys and DollsNigel Bottom in Something Rotten, Ensemble in Frozen, The Pirates of Penzance and Beautiful the Carole King Musical at Rocky Mountain Repertory, Joe Pesci in Jersey Boys at Pittsburgh Musical Theatre, and Ensemble in A Christmas Carol at Jean's Playhouse. His credits for performing at Ball State university include Monty in Violet, Bob Cratchit in A Christmas Carol, and Sir Andrew Aguecheek in Twelfth Night. His credits for guitar accompaniment include full guitar score accompaniment of the Ball State production of Daybreak, Guitar accompaniment in the class of 2022 Chicago and New York Showcase, and various accompaniments for Musical Theater students within the College of Fine Arts.

 

Jeremiah also has lots of experience with music composition in both the area of Musical Theater and pop. He has written the music to his own 30-minute musical titled Final Notice, and has written many musical theater songs in the style of song cycle. He also has music published on all streaming platforms which showcase his more pop oriented guitar and vocal music.
